What causes swollen eyelids?

I am 29-year-old woman and my eyelids are swollen. I think it’s because due to allergy but I am not sure. Is this eyelid issue common? What actually causes swollen eyelids? Please let me know if you have something to share.

There are several causes of swollen eyelids. If you have swollen eyelids then it could happen due to allergies in other areas. Having some other symptoms like:

  • Increased tearing
  • Eye irritation
  • Eyelid Dermatitis
  • Chalazion
  • Shingles
  • Eyelid Dermatitis
  • Gland Blockage
  • Contact lenses or solutions
  • Blepharochalasis
  • Styes
  • Conjunctivitis
  • Eye Infections
