Myasthenia Gravis is a neuromuscular disorder that actually causes weakness in the skeleton muscles. Such muscles are the muscles of your body used for the movement. Myasthenia gravis takes place when the communication between the muscles and the nerve cells becomes impaired. The impairment prevents crucial muscle contractions from taking place and it results in muscle weakness. This is the most common primary disorder of neuromuscular transmission.

Some of the most common symptom of Myasthenia gravis includes:

  • Drooping Eyelids
  • Slurred Speech
  • Blurred Vision
  • Weakness in the arm and legs
  • Difficulty chewing and swallowing
  • Difficulty in breathing
  • Chronic Muscle Fatigue
  • Facial Paralysis
